Highslide JS .NET Release
AJAX, ASP.NET, CSS, Highslide, UI By Dave Ward on March 26th, 2007My initial .NET server control version of Torstein Honsi’s Highslide JS .NET is now available. You can find it and information on implementing it at the Highslide JS .NET page here on my site.
For a quick video introduction of what the Highslide JS library is capable of, take a look at this basic demonstration:
Remember, Torstein graciously allows completely free use of his library on non-commercial sites, but if you use it in a production environment he asks a very reasonable licensing fee per domain. Please support his efforts if you do use it on a live site.

Excellent control man…Thanks for sharing it with all of us.
Hi Dave
What tool had you used to make the flash screencast above?
It’s called BB FlashBack.
Thanks a lot! I have downloaded and installed the program! Besides for the extra screen card that it’s installing it seems to be a great tool. It makes totally small swf files! One I have made with Camtasia Studio ended out with a 1.8 MB swf file – the same demo created with BB FlashBack is only 0.2 MB… and then the price: 300 USD for Camtasia and as low as 40 USD for BB FlashBack Express.
And by the way: Thanks a lot for your comment to my “very first ever” blog post ;-)
Thanks for sharing it!
Great control Dave. I can not get it to work in a Datalist for some reason. It is throwing an exception on the prerender event of the image. I will try to debug through it tonight to see if I can get any further.
If you’re using a master page, make sure its <head> tag is runat=”server”.
